These are a few of the graphics I created for my online shop. Check them out here!
A modern representation of Portuguese folk art, the graphic combines the blue hand-painted ceramic tiles with fado, the national music genre.
A message of resilience and strength are highlighted with a nod to art deco.
I love the details of the old clustered buildings in my home country, so I created a collage built around photography and playful color.
Project Renewal Identity
Project Renewal has a unique approach to the homeless community, in that they provide a holistic approach to renewing every aspect of one's life. The bright yellow shapes allude to sun rays, thus connecting to the message of renewal. The positioning of the shapes represent the progress of a person moving from down-and-out to standing tall; an idea which is mimicked with the business card's shifting orientation.
The use of photography conveys NY's urban environment providing the presentation with personality and a dynamic nature.
Crisp and direct presentation design in which the information takes the main stage.
The creative for Starbright Floral Design focuses on a fresh approach to presenting flower design; the dynamic geometric shapes engage the space and highlight the beauty of flowers by focusing on pattern and color.

The lines are used as the consistent design element, activating the edges of the page and adding a sharpness to the layout.
The lyrics are highlighted on the last page. Readers are led through the process of writing and editing a song while at the same time being immersed in it.
Print ads for WhereTraveler
The ad reflects a sense of adventure and discovery which relates to travel while at the same time highlighting the new app; the use of the orange shape beneath the app's icon makes it stand out while activating the edge of the page.
wheretraveler.com becomes the point of attraction with a thin outline, mimicking a search box while it overlaps a dynamic city.
Illustrative details were added to a simple photograph in order to create a playful and layered image more reflective of a vibrant vacation.
Identity for a local nonprofit organization focused on supporting individuals with benign brain tumors.
The name "It's Just Benign" plays with the contradictory idea that benign brain tumors are not serious. Going along with that same idea, the logo treatment utilizes a light typeface, creating a feeling of easiness; the letter 'i" was dotted with a complicated stroke as to hint to the seriousness of the issue.
Being a powerful word on its own, benign is centered on the t-shirt, making that the first thing people see. An asterisk was added to the word as another visual hit that it isn't as simple as it seems. Benign brain tumors can result in a lifetime of problems, and so, the corresponding line was added: *ambiquos diagnosis, state of limbo, symptomatic, in need of support
I took a playful approach with the logo concept for the private non-profit. The organic font is coupled with an icon that can be used separately, also utilizing slightly off-beat, uneven strokes.
